Hospitality in Accra isn't just about a comfortable bed—it's about an embrace. When Akosua began restoring her grandmother's compound in Osu, her goal was simple: create a sanctuary where diaspora travelers immediately feel at ease.

"When travelers step through our doorway, they aren't just guests; they are returning family," says Akosua. "Every piece of timber, the woven ceiling lamps, and the morning breakfast with fresh mangoes are sourced from local artisans within a two-mile radius."

This circular approach exemplifies the Stay Blaq ethos: every visitor's spend creates a ripple that touches carpenters, farmers, and young apprentices across the neighborhood.
