Stay Blaq (“we”, “us”, or “our”) is building a community and marketplace designed to keep more travel dollars circulating within Black communities across Africa and the diaspora.

Universal Welcome: Stay Blaq welcomes travelers and community participants of every race, ethnicity, and cultural background. We collect only the data necessary to provide discovery itineraries, community briefings, and partner connections.

2. Information We Collect

We collect data under clear, purpose-limited categories:

• Community Waitlist & Members: First name, email, audience type (traveler, host, local business, partner), country, optional city, interests, and consent timestamp.
• Optional Member Profiles: Home city, preferred destinations, and topic opt-ins. We do not collect date of birth, passport data, precise GPS location, or detailed travel histories.
• Event Registrations: Name, email address, and registration timestamp for community sessions.
• Partner Inquiries: Organization name, contact person, email, phone, location, and property/business descriptions.
• Moderation Reports: Reporter contact (optional), URL reference, and incident description.

3. How We Use Your Information

• To deliver requested corridor guides, community newsletters, and event access links.
• To qualify and advance inbound host and business partner inquiries through our onboarding pipeline.
• To manage suppression preferences and respect opt-out decisions instantly.
• To protect our systems against automated abuse and spam bots.

4. Zero-PII Analytics Disclosure

We use privacy-centric telemetry to measure high-level engagement (e.g., guide views, story saves, audience activation rates). We never transmit personal names, email addresses, free-text inputs, or precise coordinates to analytics services.

5. Your Privacy Rights & Self-Service Tools

You maintain complete control over your personal data:

• Manage Communication Preferences – Choose which updates you receive (/preferences).
• One-Click Unsubscribe – Add your email to our suppression register (/unsubscribe).
• Data Subject Access Request – Request a copy of your stored records (/data-request).
• Account & Data Erasure – Permanently delete your profile (/account-delete).
